Built around the bubbling, sulphurous formations of spring water with fabled beginnings, Terme di Saturnia Spa & Golf Resort pays homage to the culture, history, and beauty of Italy's renowned Manciano province. Embracing the concept of "habitat philosophy,"—a constant striving for harmony with one's surroundings, Terme di Saturnia inspires rejuvenation, wellness, and synchronicity with the natural world. Elegant, yet simple, each of Terme di Saturnia's exquisitely appointed guestrooms boasts its own unique charm, including views of the verdant Tuscan Hills or the resort's manicured gardens, lavish linens, and plush bedding. The hotel's 140 expansive rooms feature names like Comfort, Deluxe, and Grand. No matter what size fits your needs, each space boasts preferred amenities such as complimentary wireless Internet access, mini-bar, air conditioning, and swimming pool kit with large towel, bathrobe, and slippers, so your mind is free to ponder the depths of relaxation instead of the details of your stay.

From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent. Could not fault anything about this property (other than the smell - buy hey, thats the natural springs). Stand outs for this property was the excellent service, staff were attentive, helpful with suggestions and making bookings for us etc. Breakfast was excellent. Fresh juices, chef to cook eggs etc. Springs were a lot cleaner and warmer than the popular public one across the road. I dont play golf, but beautiful golf course as part of the resort grounds if that is your thing. Whilst we were staying, it was my birthday and the hotel left a gift and card in my room. It is small, extra details that makes the difference. Also great location to visit areas in the region.

First off, the positives: the hotel and its grounds are beautiful. The rooms are clean and spacious. The proximity to Saturnia Springs and Saturnia itself is unique, and lying in the warm natural spring is very relaxing. However, the hotel fails to justify its 5-star status and hefty price tag. The main issue is the staff’s attitude. Upon arrival, they couldn’t find our booking. The receptionist then took three phone calls from other guests, making us feel unimportant and unnecessarily prolonging the process. Lunch at the pool bar was another disappointment. We waited over 20 minutes to order while the waiter chatted with friends. The whole meal took over an hour and a half. The food was average and overpriced—the pinsa was basically cheese on toast, and the paccheri my wife had was unspectacular. Drinks were also overpriced, and there seemed to be an expectation for generous tipping. To avoid another disappointing meal, we decided to dine in Saturnia, which was lovely. However, the hotel charged us 60 euros for a 5-minute taxi ride. The next night, it was 70 euros, then 80 euros with a mandatory 10 euro tip. This feels like opportunism from the driver and the hotel. The main draw is the natural spring, a unique and relaxing experience, but the pool area feels dilapidated. We received one towel per person and one small carton of water per couple—stingy for a supposed 5-star resort. Waiter service was infrequent at best. Breakfast was average and disappointing. Pastries were fine, omelettes good, but everything else was bland and unappetizing. The coffee tasted unpleasant and was lukewarm—quite shocking for Italy. The setting was also dated and unappealing. To top it off, we were asked if we wanted to leave a tip upon checkout, which we found tacky. Overall, this hotel relies too heavily on its natural spring attraction and prioritizes profit over providing a unique guest experience. Next time, we’ll stay in Saturnia itself, which was beautiful.

A great resort and a great place to stay. Although not the most family-friendly, it's meant for older couples (very old). It was a great place to stay. The staff was great, the facilities outstanding and overall a very relaxing place. We stayed two days and were very impressed with the facilities and the overall resort experience. This is definitely the better way to experience the springs rather than at a public place that was filled with people. The breakfast was exceptional, they even had their own juicer! Highly recommend.

From the warm welcome by the team there even before arriving, to the wonderful surprise of some locally made pasta sauces as a surprise birthday gift gesture…Terme Di Saturnia did not disappoint! The breakfast is wonderful with fresh juice bar and the chef sliced up lots of fresh produce for us since we are vegan…nothing was too much trouble. The healing waters were absolutely rejuvenating and rooms very comfortable and luxurious. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality and memorable birthday!

Been here quite a few times over the years and never disappoints. Love the Roman pool and to think of all the history behind it. I love swimming lengths but it’s amazing how quickly you tire with the heat of the pool. Can be busy but outside, there is always space to relax and dip in the pools freely. Rooms are fresh and airy with very comfortable beds. The whole place looks beautiful lit up at night. Quite a demanding golf course, long fairways, lovely surroundings but could do a bit better with sign posting. All in all, relaxation is what we wanted and would highly recommend.
