When the property now known as The Fairmont Olympic Hotel, Seattle debuted in the Roaring Twenties, it marked the arrival of the Pacific Northwest – until then, hotels of that caliber were found east of Chicago. It hosted countless galas, debutante balls and presidential visits – JFK stayed here in 1961 – and, in 1979, joined the ranks of the National Register of Historic Places. Italian Renaissance architecture and Old World style meld into a centrally located Seattle landmark that hosts a AAA Four Diamond Award-winning restaurant and one of the city's oldest oyster bars.

OVERALL: Awesome hotel, beautiful classic architecture, centrally-located, Seattle's "Grand Dame." 10 out of 10 location, public areas, and facilities! SERVICE: Incredible service from your waitstaff at the Georgian Room for breakfast, from your in-rooom dining staff for breakfast, and from your head bartender at Shuckers for dinner. Also, incredible service from your General Manager, Sunny Joseph, as well as from his Executive Assistant, Renee Wigner, who were both incredibly awesome and efficient! 10 out of 10 service! ROOM: My room was wonderful! Very spacious, sparkling clean, well-decorated, and with Le Labo Rose 31 bath amenities which are my favorite. Shower water pressure and temperature were tremendous! Housekeeping was efficient, thorough, and invisible. 10 out of 10 room, bath, and housekeeping! CHECK-IN: Check-in was efficient and quite pleasant. Great Amex FH&R benefits at $72 per day for breakfast, plus $100 general F&B credit. Also received free upgrade to an executive suite and the other usual FH&R benefits. 10 out of 10 check-in! VALETS: Valets were incredible! When I dropped off my car every evening, they would ask when I would be leaving the next morning, and then have my car ready and waiting for me the next morning without me even having to call or text or use one of those pesky QR codes. I tipped them handsomely because they were the best valets I have seen in a long time! 10 out of 10 valets! CONCLUSION: Thank you for an incredible 10 out of 10 overall stay and I look forward to returning soon! -TheLuxeBro

Smooth service from beginning to the end. Special thanks to the concierge who was able to recommend something to do outside the downtown; Ballard and Bellevue were definitely worth a visit! The bar was splendid, all public spaces in excellent condition and nothing to complain about in the rooms either. Food was not particularly exciting and coffee (for a European visitor) was not really that great.

Absolutely loved our afternoon tea experience at the Fairmont Olympic, and David R. made it even more memorable! From the moment we sat down, he was attentive, warm, and genuinely welcoming. His service was top-notch—thoughtful without being intrusive, and he made sure every detail was perfect. The food was delicious, the tea selection impressive, and the elegant atmosphere tied everything together beautifully. David truly elevated the whole experience. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be back!

Dreamy four-night stay at the Fairmont. Room was large, with exceptionally comfortable bed and chairs and nice big lamps thoughtfully placed to help dispel any Seattle gloom. Every interaction with housekeepers, doormen and the front desk was pleasant and helpful. Concierge gave us recommendations for restaurants we enjoyed very much, and kindly helped resolve some logistical issues. Hotel is ideally situated for walking to downtown business, dining and sightseeing.
