Beautiful view for the price point. Worth the extra upgrade to have port view and Pike’s market view. Amenities like microwave is upon request. Free champagne, cookies, and water upon arrival. Friendly staff, fast room service. Only con is the AC takes 2-3 hrs to kick in and some noise level from the streets.

My wife and I booked 1 night at Thompson Seattle for our 15 year wedding anniversary. We booked a decent room online, but upon arriving at the hotel, we were informed that they upgraded us to the penthouse suite. What a generous offer!! We were blown away by the hospitality and felt very special as we celebrated our night. The room was immaculate! The room was spacious and luxurious! The living room and bedroom had large floor to ceiling windows that overlooked STUNNING vistas of Elliott Bay, Pike Place Market, Seattle Waterfront, and the Olympics. PNW's beauty in full display. Their rooftop bar "The Nest" is the coolest rooftop bar we've been to in Seattle. It has both covered and open areas with those same views. We left for dinner before sunset, so we'll have to go there another time soon. We WILL be back! Our new favorite spot in Seattle. Thank you again for the kind gesture of making our night special with the upgrade to the suite. We've been telling everyone about our perfect weekend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The staff here are so wonderful! From the front desk to the rooftop bar, everyone is friendly and super helpful. The rooms are lovely and the ones that face Elliot Bay have stunning views. The breakfast room service was delicious. The location is super convenient to Puke Place Market.

On the surface hotel was great, staff was friendly and helpful, hotel appeared clean. When stripping the beds before leaving both beds had hair covering the mattress protectors under the sheets. Hair was dark in color, I have red hair. Clearly the bedding had not been cleaned and changed thoroughly between guests. This may be why early check in is offered? Rooms are not cleaned from top to bottom. I did attach photos which were taken for myself only. I did not take full photos with the expectation of sharing but will share them since given the opportunity. Photos are kind in comparison to what was actually present

Hotel is well appointed with classic Thompson flair. The rooms seemed to have different bedding than the classic well recognized Italian pattern with square design. Bathroom was small in my King room but modern and efficient. My room was on the back side of the hotel with views of the apartments behind so not much to add there but privacy curtain definitely required. Breakfast at the first floor restaurant was really great with generous portions. Didn’t try the rooftop bar but will next time. Location was ideal for my meetings and also for tourists who might want to see Pike Place. Some foot traffic and transients in the area which is to be expected.
