Avoid this hotel at all cost
One of the worst experience i have had traveling. After long trip from the US ai arrived Sunday at 500 PM only to find out there is no hot water to shower as they had planes maintenance (On Sunday!!!) the next day there was no water at all in the room. No notice from the hotel of any sort. Then the elevators were not working (mind you the rooms at this hotel are Located in floor 84-91). Half the staff does not speak English

Still as PERFECT as I remembered
My first stay at Park Hyatt was more than 15 years ago as I often traveled to Shanghai for work. I cane back to visit this Dec after 7 long years, and the hotel remains as perfect as I remembered. Besides the amazing view, I enjoyed the exclusiveness of the hotel and its rooms. The rooms are simply perfect; from its design, condition, layout, quality to its cleanness- remain top notch! The only “complain” I have would be the big dining table that’s placed in some of the rooms. It’s so not necessary but I am sure internally they are aware of the complains. Otherwise, it’s a hotel I’d highly recommend to people who travel to Shanghai either for work or for leisure. Last but not least, bravo to the Park Hyatt Shanghai management, maintenance and the clean crew for keeping the place impeccable!

Nice but there are something can be better
Overall the hotel is nice, every staff are pretty friendly and I took one pts off cuz the hotel equips overall still have some kind of imperfection (already opened nearly 20 years so there are some equips are behind than others new hotels) but still a nice option

During my recent stay at the Park Hyatt Shanghai, I was thoroughly impressed by the outstanding service provided by the team, particularly Kelin, Fany and Joanna. The stunning views, design and impeccable service make Park Hyatt Shanghai one of the finest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Kelin, Fany and Joanna for their dedication and effort.
