D-Resort Sibenik

First of all let's talk about the positives: 1. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful 2. The rooms are lovely 3. The food at breakfast was gorgeous and varied 4. The boat taxi across to the town in the evening is lovely 5. The marina is very pleasant The only reasons for marking it down might seem petty: 1. There is no free water chilled or otherwise apart from tap water. 2. They have instant coffee sachets in the room 3. You have to get a taxi (road or boat) as the walk into town is quite grim and at 2.5m too far to do regularly 4. There is only one bar / shop within a 15 minute walk

Very disappointed. Would not recommend. Promised a room with a harbor view, got plants. The shower leaked across the bath floor. The drapes were a fight to open for what little view there was. They took the linens but failed to replace them. The stopper in the bath sink layed in the sink for a week and was never repaired. We had a dead bug laying on the coffee table for 5 days. It was still there when we left. The service team is extremely friendly and personable, just handicap by pour leadership and attention to detail.

Truly wonderful stay in a picturesque hotel, we felt spoilt from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. It's a true gem of a hotel. The view from the room was of the city across the water and was beautiful when lit up at night. The staff especially Laura and Bozena on the pool bar were amazing and made our experience even better. The roof top entertainment on a Friday night with a DJ, could've had a little bit more lighting would've been great to add to the atmosphere. Both the pools were clean and tidy and the added bonus of being able to swim in the sea as well. Possible downside was trying to work lighting switch out so as not yo wake you're partner when caught short and lighting the room up like Blackpool illuminations😂.

We stayed in a modern villa on the resort, which was perfect. The villa was well-equipped, the hotel was clean, staff were friendly and professional, and the food was superb. Its location was beautiful and convenient for exploring Šibenik old town, Krka Falls & Kornati Islands. Highly recommended

Beautiful modern hotel, situated in the site of a marina, looking in itself like an art exhibit. Very stylish with a wide outside walkway from ground level all the way to the top of the hotel where there is a champagne/ cocktail bar with great views over the marina. Very good breakfast choices with people mainly seated in lovely outside area on 3rd of 3 floors as I recall. Our room was very good and the staff were great. There are 2 pool areas about 7 minute walk from each other. One is set at ground level by the sea and the other set high where spa facilities are housed in a stylish building. The town of Sibenik is about a 45 minute walk or 8 minute drive. It is a lovely charming historic town and quite small but just right i feel containing many very good restaurants and bars within its catacomb of steps and walkways. We would return.
