We stayed here for a week and overall had a great experience. The staff are all incredibly friendly and accommodating, the beds were comfy, the spa was lovely and I had one of the best massages ever (highly recommend). It's a little way out of town but the free shuttle service was incredibly handy, but it's also only around €7-10. Dinner was quite expensive, we ate at the buffet restaurant on one night and the food was great, ate out all the other nights. We weren't aware the beach area we essentially party central so avoided that area while we were there, but we didn't book this hotel specifically to be on the beach so it didn't bother us. Overall a little pricey for what's included but a lovely stay

Great Place with superb outdoor pool & great beach club. Highly recommended. We really enjoyed our stay and will surely come back. book the new part as the rooms are much nicer. You need to walk a bit to the beach but the water is super clean. It was top!

We are a couple in our sixties, are well traveled and have mixed feelings about this hotel. Having had a complimentary upgrade to a corner suite with a large lounge and free standing bath our initial impressions were good. However the Muzak played round the pool and the ear splitting dance music played at the beach club really spoiled things for us. There was nowhere to go to get away from the noise. Breakfast was good, cleaning efficient and we used the complimentary mini bus one evening to get into the centre of Split. The area around the hotel is not attractive and it’s quite a walk into town ,especially when it’s 🥵

The spa and massage experience was lovely. Francesca and Stefanja were amazing. The 80 min stress away massage was incredible. Didn’t want it to end. We booked again for another round before leaving. 🙏🏻. Very grateful for the wonderful experience

We chose Radisson Blu in Split as it was advertised as 5 star hotel near the old town, I have been fortunate enough to stay a lot in 5 star hotel be it usually a Marriot so I am suitably qualified to comment. This hotel in split is not 5 star and we were very disappointed. Downstairs lobby and 1st floor looks good but beyond that ummm. When we arrived they had twin beds in our room, we specifically asked for a queen. So when I pointed this out they said just push them together. Eventually we did move to another room. The room itself was ok, we don't expect square moulded plastic bedside tables very little storage and a TV at 90 degrees to our view. There is one uncomeatable seat in the room no chairs just a square leather block bench to sit on. Whilst on the first day there were two tea bags we had no creamers or sugar despite asking several times. We were eventually given 4 tea bags, the maid would not give us any more ! In the bathroom we had small fiddly plastic bottles for shower gel etc, not wall mounted dispensers but just like a travel lodge. There were 6 coat hangers in total for two people staying a week. The bulbs on the mirror and a ceiling light did not work, maintenance sorted but one went out again. For 2 days no hand towels, From our room you can hear both rooms either side when they shower, talk, or flush the toilet. Used drinking glasses in the room were left for 2 nights and not replaced. There is no bed turndown service at all and in the first few days no water left for us to drink. The restaurants looked fine but in the buffet the hot food is just warm. The deserts were minimal and not what you would expect, they even put bourbon biscuits as deserts! It looked like they were not bothered or going to make a real effort. The nicest place is the main bar where the staff were fantastic, September is quiet very quiet as some nights only 6-10 people in the bar terrace, there is live music every night until 11 pm. On the Thursday we came down to use the buffet for dinner but it was in darkness, they closed it for the season and didn't even tell the staff or the guests. Just closed and that's it. When they tell you the old town is a short walking distance, do not believe them unless you want to walk for 45 min each way. Just use hotel transport (last bus 8pm) or do as we did and use Uber its only around 8 euros each way. The hotel location is really in the middle of nowhere, you cant walk to any restaurant or bar. The spa facilities are brilliant as were the massages. During our stay one of the lifts stopped working, during busy time that would be a problem. Ordered room service one evening, food was warm again so we sent it back. Outdoor pool area very nice but the private double four poster beds are 100 euro per day, no hourly charges are offered so in effect you could pay 100 euro for 2 hours. Would we stay at the hotel again, no way. The reception on check out don't even ask if you had a nice stay.
