You'll love this hotel!
Wonderful step-back-in-time hotel! Within walking distance of many locations (we went and saw a musical at the Orpheum just on the other side of the park and walked to Candyland the next day for some treats). Service was top-notch. We went exploring the hotel and there were so many nooks and crannies with lots of historical pictures and artifacts.

Unique experience
Wonderful ambience reminiscent of the luxurious Roaring Twenties and Thirties yet with all the modern amenities. Convenient to so many downtown landmarks including the Ordway, the Landmark Center, the library, and others. Could easily walk to different destinations safely.

Great time at the St. Paul Hotel
I love the historic atmosphere of this grand old hotel! We stayed a couple of days and enjoyed the tea as well as an Ordway show. We always love the parking and luggage help, the wonderful lobby decorated for Christmas, and the St. Paul Grill as well as The Drake. Personnel are friendly, kind, and highly service oriented. Liked our suite as well, but it could use some furniture (sofa, chair).

top notch classic hotel
best staff around - very attentive and accommodating. Room and hotel have the classic, old fashioned look but everything perfect, clean and in great condition. Bed was very comfortable with a view of Rice park with its christmas lights lit at nite was beautiful.

The Saint Paul Hotel was just what I needed
I had the loveliest time at the SPHotel. I initially booked 3 nights as I was in town visiting my mother, who is quite ill. Last minute, when I decided to book an additional 3 nights through a third-party website rather than directly on the SPHotel site, the front office manager was kind enough to let me stay in my same room rather than move out. Everyone was so incredibly kind - the car valet/doormen, the front desk staff (especially Brian, he was wonderful!), the in-room dining deliverers, the SPGrill wait staff, and the house cleaning team were all extremely professional and extremely friendly. What's more, the charm and beauty of the lobby as well as the dedication to retaining the hotel's lovely historical aesthetic was so very much appreciated. The beautiful decor (including the holiday decorations) was so nice to come "home" to every evening. Staying at the SP Hotel made a somewhat stressful stay not only tolerable, but very, very pleasant. I truly couldn't have picked a better option!
