Old world charm & pure bliss
Our stay at The Sydney Langham hotel was exceptional , we love the history & old world charm & our room with a stunning view of the harbour was pure class . Comfortable bed , lovely bathroom , plush towels & all the trimmings . The evening turn down was very nice & the thoughtful addition of a kettle , cups & tea ( without even a request ) was greatly appreciated . The staff are all so lovely and very keen to help you relax and feel special . My hubby & I were looking for a special treat to celebrate & this hotel definitely met our expectations . We loved the balloons & treats to help us celebrate & they make the best cocktails in the bar/ lounge area . Breakfast was also a treat , with a great choice of food items & amazing service . We highly recommend a visit

Nice boutique hotel
Very good quality hotel has a boutique feel about it. Lovely suite this time with balcony room very comfortable. Good size swimming pool, gym is small but functional. The only thing that could be improved is breakfast, my husband didn’t really enjoy it, there is a buffet and a menu you can choose from. So we tended to get breakfast on the rocks, otherwise we really like this hotel and location,

Slipping
For the second time in two annual visits, we had to check our bill and have items removed that we had not ordered or consumed. Our second night of a two night stay, was ruined by two drunken women in the adjacent room, returning at 4am, playing music and literally screaming for about half an hour. The hand shower in our bathroom was broken - something maintenance and house-keeping should have been aware of and fixed. The meal we were served at Kitchens, was truly below average and not even up to local cafe standards. What happened Langham? Where did the experience that I would pay $650 a night go? My wife and I have celebrated our wedding anniversary here three times over the years, but will go elsewhere next year.

Perfect Stay at the Langham
Beautiful room. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Quiet. Excellent amenities and service. No better place to stay while in Sydney.

A little disappointing
I was really looking forward to staying at The Langham for a 2 night stay but there were a few things which weren't up to my expectations during my visit. I had no bathrobes in the room so had to borrow a bathrobe from my cousin's room who was also staying at the hotel. I then ordered room service for breakfast as I was really looking forward to having a lie in with breakfast being delivered to me. After waiting for my breakfast to arrive, I opened my door to find my breakfast card was not collected. When I questioned this at reception (thinking that I put my card out too late - 11:30pm). they informed me there would have been two sweeps of the floor to collect these, so in the end I didn't have breakfast in my room. I was kindly compensated with a bottle of sparkling wine and a note addressed to `Mr'. I also received a letter under my door (once again address to `Mr' about a dinner reservation which I did not make. I rang the concierge to ask them about this and they said they must have made a mistake and it was for someone else. These are little things I am complaining about, but for a 5 star hotel, I would have expected better attention to detail. The rooms were lovely and spacious and the housekeeping staff were lovely and friendly.
