Seated majestically on one of the world’s most beautiful harbours, Park Hyatt Sydney perfectly personifies contemporary harbourside luxury with its coveted location between the iconic Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Reminiscent of an exclusive harbourside residence, Park Hyatt Sydney offers intimate surrounds with architecture, art and design that reflect the Australian landscape.

This year, I stayed almost every month. Sydney has two Hyatt hotels, and while I also like the Hyatt Regency, I find myself repeatedly coming back to the Park Hyatt. It is that attractive a hotel. The staff's open and sophisticated hospitality is the most comfortable I've experienced, even compared to hotels in other countries. No matter which room you choose, you can enjoy your private time while taking in the stunning view of the harbor where luxury cruise ships are docked. Some rooms even offer a view of the Sydney Opera House. When I go down to the restaurant on the first floor for breakfast, sitting by the window allows me to watch people jogging or strolling along the boardwalk surrounding the harbor. It’s an opportunity to witness the peaceful diversity of Sydney firsthand. The restaurant’s menu also often features special dishes from Asia, and recently, they've been offering four types of yogurt — Greek, coconut, and others — showcasing a sense of variety and expansion. During pleasant weather, the large windows of the restaurant open, letting in the refreshing sea breeze. Whether in the room or the restaurant, this wonderful hotel stimulates not just the sense of sight, but all of the senses.

The perfect stay. Incredible location, excellent facilities, and friendly and helpful staff. From the moment we arrived everything was perfect, including the exceptional staff, the incredible room and view, and the location on the waterfront in the middle of Sydney. We cannot fault a single thing or suggest a single improvement about our stay.

What a location to stay at. From the moment we arrived we were treated extremely well by all staff members. Valet Parking, Reception, Concierge & Room Services were impeccable. We were lucky enough to be given an upgrade which was absolutely stunning and we are very thankful. Breakfast had many choices and the cooked breakfasts on offer we well simply devine. We had both had a very busy day at work and arrived around 5pm exhausted but after around 30 minutes relaxing on our balcony with a glass of champayne it felt like we had been there all day and hadn't even felt like we had worked a full day. I would highly recommend The Park Hyatt to everyone to experience at least once in your life but if youre anything like me you can't go back to normal accommodation after staying here.

I've traveled extensively, but the level of service here stands out. The staff's ability to be attentive without hovering is remarkable. The property maintains its high standards throughout – from the public spaces to the private rooms. The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance between luxury and comfort. It's the kind of place that makes you feel special without trying too hard.

This hotel is a Sydney classic, and for excellent reason! Staff were extremely professional - cheerful, polite and eager to please. I'd say they were definitely on the level of what you'd expect from say, Four Seasons staff, versus typical Hyatt staff. Facilities are lovely (including the gym, the pool, and the restaurant), and our rooms were serene and gorgeous. Big thumbs up for the delicious (included in the price) breakfasts, the spectacular views of the Opera House and harbor, and the very well-maintained furnishings. The price tag is luxurious, but completely in keeping with the level of room and service, as opposed to what we experienced at the Intercontinental Double Bay. If you're traveling for fun versus business, I think the only downside is that the Park Hyatt is located in The Rocks, the historical center of the city, which has a lot of visual perks but is often flooded with cruise ship passengers. That said, of all the Sydney hotels we stayed at, this was certainly the most memorable and well-run.
