The Carlton Tel Aviv

The hotel is small enough to make you feel like family but large enough to offer every luxury amenity you may desire. From Gila and the front desk staff, to Shachar and the breakfast room staff, to concierges Ruben and Rachel, Sofia in the executive lounge and the front door security and bell staff, everyone make a guest feel special. And the Flame restaurant was awesome, with a solicitous staff even during dinner interruptus due to a red alert.

I love staying at this hotel. The location is great. The fellow guests are a mix of tourists, Israelis on vacation and all kinds of interesting people, as you may be lucky enough to discover when chatting with fellow guests at the amazing breakfast on the beach. The staff is so nice and helpful offering to get you cappuccinos up to, and even past, the very last minute of breakfast. The hotel synagogue is warm and welcoming. Whether it is shabbat candle lighting, the beautiful sukkah or the havdallah, if you are seeking a warm communal atmosphere, it is there. At the same time, the beach in front of the hotel is beautiful and when the water is calm you can walk far out into the warm sea and see the little fish swimming around your feet. When it is wavier this beach is where the surfers of all ages surf from the minute the sun begins to rise until the sun has completely set. It is mesmerizing to watch them from your balcony or from the exclusive lounge. There are newer and fancier hotels along the Tel Aviv coast but this hotel feels like an authentic Israeli luxury experience balanced by good value. Everyone who works there will go out of their way to meet your very need, the food is delicious and you will have Israeli experiences and exchanges that will enrich your visit, something that is unique to this special hotel.

Great 5 star hotel. First class staff from top to bottom. Special shout out to Raechel (concierge), Ms. Gila, Mr. Gal at front desk. Among MANY others on the staff. Breakfast buffet is something beyond belief. The breadth, variety and quality of what is offered is truly remarkable- even by Israeli standards. The room was modern, nicely appointed and well maintained as is the entire facility. Basically flawless and fantastic. Will absolutely stay here again when we visit Tel Aviv next time. Location is also great

I wanted to take my mother to Tel Aviv for a special birthday experience. I chose the Carleton, and we were both extremely happy with the choice. The staff was welcoming and helpful—from the reception on! The deluxe room had a balcony with the most amazing view. The breakfast was outstanding, and the rooftop pool was beautiful. I highly recommend it!
