Perfection and bliss - AMAN at its best!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Our stay at Aman Tokyo was nothing short of extraordinary. Nestled high above the city, this serene haven offered a unique blend of Japanese minimalism, modern luxury, and impeccable service—creating the perfect Tokyo escape. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were enveloped in a sense of calm. The architectural beauty of the space, with its soaring ceilings, natural textures, and carefully curated design, sets a tone of quiet sophistication that stays with you throughout your time here. Our room was an absolute sanctuary—spacious, serene, and meticulously detailed with traditional Japanese elements. The deep soaking tub with panoramic city views was an experience in itself, and every aspect of the room exuded understated elegance. The service, as expected from Aman, was flawless. Discreet, intuitive, and always personal—every interaction felt warm and thoughtful. Whether it was restaurant recommendations, arranging day excursions, or simply the way turn-down service was done with such grace—it all elevated our experience. Dining at Aman Tokyo was exceptional. Each dish was a reflection of both seasonality and artistry, whether it was the refined Japanese cuisine or the elegant Western offerings. Breakfasts were leisurely and luxurious, and the dining room itself offered a peaceful retreat from the city’s bustle. The wellness area and pool deserve a special mention—one of the most beautiful we've experienced. Floating above the skyline, the tranquil pool and spa provided the perfect balance to Tokyo’s dynamic energy. Aman Tokyo is not just a place to stay—it’s an experience that lingers long after you leave. For anyone seeking privacy, elegance, and a truly restorative retreat in one of the world’s busiest cities, Aman is simply unmatched.

Stolen cash

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

During our five-night stay at Aman Tokyo last week, the cleaning staff went through my purse and stole $900 in cash. We promptly reported the incident, but little was done to address it. A heads up to anyone planning to stay—keep your valuables with you or skip room cleaning.

magical holiday adventure

Just got back from the Christmas Lights trolley - what a blast! The karaoke was hilarious, everyone got really into singing Christmas songs while we drove around looking at the gorgeous light displays. Even the grumpy teenager in front of us ended up joining in for Rudolph! The hot chocolate they served was a nice touch, and our guide Kelly made sure everyone was having fun. The stops at the best-decorated neighborhoods were perfe
