This hotel was great. The staff is super nice and attentive . The breakfast is a must I wouldn’t miss it and I think it’s the best in Tokyo. Don’t miss the gym and the yoga class (I think the teachers name was kamsi - great class) the juice post is great. Also the pajamas they give you in the room are super comfortable. Muse, Jonna, and one more person helped us a lot. Also the tour guide they recommended Aiko was SO nice.

Lovely stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi. Greatly appreciate Alvin’s greeting and the festive setup in the room with an expansive view of the gardens surrounding the Imperial Palace. The dining options were terrific, with Ramesh and Albert both going above and beyond to treat us with care. VIRTÙ specifically is an excellent social space. Meant to dine at est, but our friends had plans elsewhere, so I’ll have to give it a go next time. The spa is well laid out, and the treatment room for my massage had one of the best views I’ve ever seen in a treatment room. Concierge staff are good, despite a small mixup about the availability of a reservation. Pool and gym are both top notch, as are the baths. Greatly appreciate the kind sendoff and arrangement for a swift taxi. Alvin and Uday should be proud of their team and they have my thanks for an excellent stay.

Really sad experience with payments, none of my credit cards were accepted so I ended up paying with debit card which was overcharged. The amount due has still not been transferred back to me. Seems like they have issues with some cards, another review talked about similar issues. Puts you in a very uncomfortable and cumbersome position while traveling and totally not acceptable for a 5* hotel. Left me with such a bad aftertaste and now chasing my money back. Really disappointing.

This hotel was, in a word - stunning. We treated ourselves to a few nights at the end of our Japan vacation, and are so glad we did. We decided to splurge on the Deluxe Room Imperial Palace View - it was so worth it. The view of the Palace was cool, but the thing that really blew us away was the absolutely panoramic view of the Tokyo skyline behind the Imperial Palace grounds that are the constant backdrop to your stay. It was a view like nothing I've had in a hotel room before. We literally sat by the windows in our room and had a glass of wine at sunset watching the view, and sat at night watching the lights flash on the skyline - it was really breathtaking. The room design and furnishings were extraordinary, sophisticated, and new - one of the nicest Four Seasons rooms we've stayed in. And of course, the Four Seasons signature mattress and bedding are the best in the business, in my opinion. The entryway closet / organization area were perfect for luggage. The bathroom was so deluxe. And the living area were so comfortable and peaceful. And, there were such lovely touches throughout our stay that we noticed in the room, and that the housekeeping team helped with. Not to mention, the pajamas were a great touch! The hotel property itself is, as expected, top notch and beautifully designed. From the moment you exit the elevators on the 39th floor, you're constantly reminded that you're on the top of Tokyo, as the floor to ceiling windows constantly show your the skyline as you move through the lobby, the restaurants, the bar, and the pool / Japanese bath area. We ate at Pigneto for dinner and breakfast - both meals were excellent with excellent service (also we were really surprised to find such good pizza in Tokyo!). And, we had cocktails and snacks at Virtu - delicious and great service, but frankly, a bit overpriced. Also, we were a bit confused that the hotel didn't offer reservations at Virtu for hotel guests upon request, and it's walk-in only - so we had to anxiously wait outside the bar at opening time in order to get a table with a view for drinks with two of our friends. The service all around was excellent, and lived up to the Four Seasons brand. The concierges helped us organize restaurant reservations at a nearby restaurant that matched exactly what we had described - a local yakitori restaurant that was casual, hip and fun and affordable - and we were the only tourists, too! The concierges also helped us organize a taxi back to the airport. The only feedback I would have is that the concierges seemed so busy, that we were waiting to hear back from them on formal confirmations of our reservations for dinners and airport taxi, which caused a bit of uncertainty - this workflow might still be getting ironed out? All in all, this was definitely a top tier experience, and a superlative and special place to stay. I would highly recommend this hotel!

From the moment you step into the hotel ground floor area you are at home, at least that was the feeling we got and it stayed during our whole stay of 6 nights. Perfect location, what a view, superb service by the different teams. My only suggestion would be: a Concierge service that does not stop at 8 pm. Having visited later on the other 2 FS hotels (Kyoto and Osaka), Otemachi was top!
