Reviews for Grand Hyatt Tokyo

Comfortable and very beautiful hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

The stay was very comfortable and pleasant at the end of a long business trip. The happy hour, breakfast and lunch after meetings were super great. The grand club was very helpful in providing directions and recommendations for neighborhood stuff.

Not worth the price

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Stayed at this hotel for three nights. Upon arrival I was informed that no upgrade to suite is possible (I am Globalist member) as occupancy is very high, but they gave me room on the 6th floor (out of 21, rooms start on the 6th floor) with no view, facing the busy and noisy street, so they could at least put some effort to offer their elite members better rooms on high floors with some view, especially given the high price point. Room was a bit old, but well maintained, all worked well, bathroom was nice, bed also firm, but still comfy. What bothered us the most was noise coming from the street. Grand club was ok, breakfast a bit underwhelming with limited choices, felt like a cost saving measure to limit elite members to the club, but these are the WoH rules, so no complaint there. Afternoon tea was very poor, only two tiny sweet and two tiny salty items offered with some fruit. Evening spread (5.30 to 7.30pm) was the best time to visit the club, plenty of good quality choices and very friendly staff. Overall, for me hotel is a bit past its prime and not worth the price point, if they renovate I will return, if not, there are other Hyatt hotels that offer mode for similar price.

Club lounge made a big difference

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Not my first stay here but my first with club lounge access and what a difference that made. The canapés and champagne served were great and it wasn’t too crowded. A great experience and I will book a room with club lounge access for sure in future

feels luxurious

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

We reserved 2 rooms with club access. We arrived earlier but the rooms were ready. 1st they took us to the club lounge to check in, and provided afternoon tea and relax before go to the room. luggage were delivered to the room. Each room had a spectacular different views, which we loved. One was with Mt. Fuji and the other one was with Tokyo Tower. Very impressed everything. We highly recommend this hotel with club access.

Great hotel and location!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

The hotel was amazing! We stayed in Roppongi and were surprised by how convenient the location was! It was easy to visit places like Shibuya, Tokyo Station, and Ginza. On top of that, Roppongi itself had plenty of bars and other spots to enjoy, so we never felt like we were missing out on anything
