Perfection
Maybe because falling in love in Venice is easy… but indeed I fell in love with this corner of the world on the Canal Grande. The hotel has one of the best view of Venice, you can contemplate all the bay and you are right at the entrance of the Canal Grande, at few minutes walking from Piazza San Marco and easily reaching by water taxi whatever place you wish around Venice. You got off the water directly on the beautiful terrace on the canal and you immediately wish to sit there for a drink to enjoy the charm of the view and of the atmosphere. The reception hall is a bit too modern and a sort of cold shower after all the romanticism of the arrival, it’s not what you would expect, but anyway is superlatively elegant and invites you to stay. Check in is smooth and fast, the staff is efficient and trained to old - style impeccable manners. Rooms are the biggest gem: brand new, enriched with Murano pieces, lavishly decorated, marvelous. The most emotional moment has been stepping into the terrace for dinner around 19.30 and freeze on the door for the breathtaking view of Venice in the golden - blue - magical light of the sunset. In one second I felt why Canaletto couldn’t stop to portrait it… . Waiters were serving dinner in black tie and white jacket, with not one sign of impatience despite the temperature. Food is delicious and the service attentive with an encomiable maitre overlooking every move of the staff. Breakfast is no less. I can just say that I’m looking forward to be back.

Stunning hotel, amazing staff and steps away from the Plaza!
From the moment we checked in everything was perfection! Our room was elegant and the front end staff terrific. The breakfast buffet was exceptional. The restaurant recommendations were great and we came back each evening to have wine on the outdoor terrace. Andreas, our server, was so much fun! Note to the men- there is a dress code for the restaurant and terrace after 7:30 when long pants are required.

Superb hotel and restaurant. Location is great and only a couple of minutes to st marks and walking distance to the main points of interest. Staff professional and helpful. Nice rooms with real character unlike a typical modern hotel with no soul. All the expected amenities. Located right on the grand canal edge with a busy gondola operation near the front. Restaurant is along waters edge and is fabulous. We have eaten here alot as it is so good. One of tve nicest breakfasts of anywhere we have stayed. Quality food. Wait staff have professional and classy service. Highly recommend this hotel and would love to stay again. Have enjoyed our three nights here. It is easy to access with a high speed boat from the airport to the door. A great start to a wonderful holiday.

Excellent Hotel and Location
I chose Hotel Monaco as I wanted to be close to San Marco Square. It was a very short walk to the square and also near high end stores. The location on the Grand Canal was a huge bonus as the vaporetto stop was at its doorstop - no dragging your luggage over streets or bridges! The concierge staff was very helpful and arranged a water taxi to the airport. The restaurant they recommended was one of the best dinners we had in Venice. The hotel room was clean, comfortable with excellent AC. The cost was competitively priced to be on the Grand Canal and I would definitely chose the Hotel Monaco again.

This is one of the most beautiful and staining hotel and experience I had in Venice, was one of our trip highlights in Italy and Venice , how you get Venetian experience here how the room is decorated, great view, perfect location close to the water taxi, private taxi at the hotel own deck, San Marcus was very close 2 min, walking distance to Rialto bridge. The service was great, I will highly recommend to stay here and I am very happy we staid here and we chose this hotel. For sure in our next trip to Venice I would choose this hotel and stay here back without thinking for a second to stay somewhere else… We Fall in love with this hotel, Love it Love it 🙌👍👍😊
