San Clemente Palace Kempinski

We visited Kempinski Venice as a couple in April 2025, and it turned out to be so much more than just a getaway – it was the beginning of a new chapter in our lives. We got engaged during our stay, and the entire team made this moment truly unforgettable. A special thank you goes to the front desk team and the concierge, who supported me in planning and making the proposal come to life. The Food & Beverage team as well as Guest Relations also played a big part in making us feel completely at home. You could genuinely feel that everyone at the hotel is passionate about delivering exceptional service. It would be impossible to name every staff member who contributed to this experience – simply because every single one of them was outstanding. One thing is certain: if you’re looking for a hotel in Venice with heart, professionalism, and a true sense for special moments, Kempinski is the place to be. Wholeheartedly recommended.

An incredibly beautiful and peaceful place with a very good hotel in the hustle and bustle of Venice.The rooms are wonderful, large, spacious and clean and have everything you need for a wonderful stay.You can spend a few days there without leaving the island.

Lot of really great things about this property. Bed was incredibly comfortable - one of my favorites ever. The staff were incredibly helpful, really appreciated everything they did. Breakfast was delicious everyday. The Clementine Bar was really nice, relaxed and Davide makes great drinks. the property is also wonderful, so many places to sit and relax outside with beautiful views. All in all a great visit.

Beautiful property with wonderful staff. The island grounds are very well kept. Unfortunately the air conditioning in both rooms was not working at all, one was always cold and the other was always hot; and we couldn’t open the windows very well because of mosquitos and loud music from the (empty) outside bar area until 3am Service in the restaurant was impeccable and the food fantastic. Unfortunately it booked out quickly and we never managed to get an early reservation. So we chose to eat at the bar, which was good. As a family we would have liked to have a kids club with some activities, and to have an easy dining option for kids, such as a kids buffet. Still, we’re really impressed and will certainly consider coming back.
