About the Hotel
Floating gondolas, the chime of ancient church bells, and romantic piazzas make Venice such a treasured Italian destination. Splendid Venice, part of Preferred Hotels & Resorts and a member of the Preferred Hotel Group, was built during the 16th century. Located between St. Mark's Square and the landmark Rialto Bridge, this historic hideaway features 165 guestrooms. A hidden gem
A hidden gem. Was a lovely hotel well located in close proximity to St Mark's Square. Much larger than you first think when you walk in. Our room was beautiful and very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice and had a decent variety. Would definitely return and recommend the hotel.

Beautiful hotel in a great location
My wife and I only stayed here one night but it was a very enjoyable one. The front desk last was so helpful as were all the other staff. The young guy that poured us drinks even walked our luggage down to the water taxi. It’s small but cute and close the square. I believe all the rooms are different which makes it unique.

"Splendid" indeed! The Hotel is in a perfect location of Venice. It is just beautifully and tastefully decorated, very "Venetian"! The entire hotel is immaculate! The staff is very friendly and courteous! The breakfast was wonderful with great selections! Only superlatives come to mind! I highly recommend this Hotel!

Splendid by name, splendid by nature!
We’ve just returned from a wonderful weekend staying at the Splendid in Venice and it certainly was! In the lead up to our arrival, the hotel was very helpful in arranging our water taxi (a real treat as it’s not cheap but what a way to arrive !!) from the airport. And the wonderful service continued from there. Our room was comfortable, clean and plenty big enough for the two of us. We didn’t have breakfast included but the dining area was spacious and the breakfast selection looked good. The rooftop bar is delightful and the perfect way to relax after a long day of sightseeing! The hotels location is excellent. Super close to the main sites and a gondola service if you’re keen. All in all we had a brilliant experience and would highly recommend.

Wonderful Staff
The location is fantastic, the rooms excellent and the restaurant amazing but the absolute best thing about this hotel is the staff. Everyone we came in contact with was top quality and left you with the feeling that they really do care. A special mention here for Gueye in the restaurant, we celebrated our 54th wedding anniversary on our first night at the hotel and Gueye made it so special for us that we cancelled our reservation at another restaurant the next evening and ate again at the hotel. He is a real credit to your organisation.
