This was hands down the best hotel experience my husband and I have ever had. The highlight was the staff! Every member we encountered had a smile and greeting for us, no matter the hour. We stayed in a king corner room with Sakura Club access and again the staff was incredible, especially the evening shift! Of course the food was all fantastic as well. We also had a meal and drinks at Estuary, all on point. Our room was gorgeous, spacious, and SPOTLESS. The location was perfect for us; we were able to walk to all the museums and everything we wanted to see. Overall I just can’t put into words how impeccable our stay was. We’ll be back!

We have stayed in a park suite with access to Sakura club. The location is great. You are within 15-25 minutes walk from major downtown attractions. When entering, you need to go level 3 to check in - a bit awkward, but ok. If you stay at Sakura club, they could meet you there and check in in private on 10th floor. The hotel is of modem style with Asian (Japanese?) flavor of decor. It is well lit and windows are wide. The suite was spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. (Even sofa-bed had excellent mattress - rarerety). The view on small park was especially nice at night. We especially enjoyed Sakura Club. It was a place to relax. Unlike other clubs, it was well stocked with food 24/7 - from snacks to wine to fruits to meats and yogurts. They had breakfast buffet with ability order cooked-to-order eggs like Benedict. The dinner time had changing theme - different for every night (I think five various cousins). The only thing would be nice to have is caviar (champagne was available). We did eat in the restaurant, and found the food delicious. We had in-room service, and were pleased that it was properly served on plates (not like Uber bags). The staff was super nice and attentive front doorman to front desk to maintenance personal to Sakura club. Kids love toys offered. We all wished there would be a pool as massage at spa was relaxing. The staff is super nice and helpful. Thank you to Kayla with helping us to choose the right room, and keeping kids happy.

Just ok. Location is great in City Center. Booked with a Hilton Free Night Certificate. Valet, bell staff, and front desk were great. Nour and Danielle are stand outs at check in- really great. Everyone was friendly and they were diligent to call and let us know the room was ready (we arrived very early with plans to be out in DC for the day). Standard Room was a nice size and very updated. Questionable design decisions- vanity counter so low and wide that there is no trash can except in the water closet. Shower door is so far down that opening it snags the bath mat. Mini bar has so much in it, there’s no room to store your own beverages or food. Biggest issue- nothing in it was cold. My husband had to put ice in the beer. Speaking of ice, the ice machine is locked behind a housekeeping door. Luckily a staff member was in the hall and filled my ice otherwise you would have to call room service for ice. My biggest gripe is the restaurant. With the rooftop bar closed, there is one dining option. That dining option is Estuary because room service is the exact same menu. We went to the bar for a drink and app- very limited menu. No additional bar menu. We were looking to get something simple like a cheese plate, no option. I open the app to order room service and call down and am told that’s the wrong menu. I scan the QR code on the TV and the menu is the exact same limited menu at Estuary. We ordered from Uber Eats instead.

The hotel is lovely and the staff top notch. Every employee I came in contact with was friendly and helpful. Had the pleasure of staying on the 10th floor and really enjoyed the Sakura Club. Great food, great service, and I must give a shout out to both Daryl and Marlon! Both gentlemen went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We will definitely be back.

This was our 3rd stay at the Conrad DC and was for the most part very satisfied, Booked through AMEX FHR and paid extra for the Sakura Club which provides drinks, snacks, hot breakfast and different theme nights in the evening. The 3 evenings that we were there were Southern on Friday, Asian on Saturday and Latin on Sunday. Although not a drinker, I still love the Sakura Club just for the snacks, dessert and breakfast in the morning. Special thanks to Tom in the lounge! Unfortunately I am not a fan of Estuary, the restaurant downstairs. Decided to go there on the last day for breakfast and was disappointed. Firstly, the restaurant was 1/2 empty yet I was asked if we had "a reservation," which we did not. Waited only about 5-10 minutes to be seated at 9:30am, but obviously the restaurant is short-staffed because there is no reason to be waiting for a table or asked if you have a reservation if they're not busy. Food was average. Waiter completely disappeared and because the runner brings the food didn't see the server again until we were finished. No bacon was brought with my lukewarm waffle and when I told him it was forgotten, he asked if I wanted it "to go." SMH. He then proceeded to place the check on the table but saw in 5 seconds it was the wrong bill. For lunch the service was fine, but menu is way "too cutesy." No Caesar Salad, no chicken fingers, no grilled chicken sandwich. Staples that most restaurants would have for lunch are not here. Never got any sort of bedtime amenity kit mentioned by other reviewers on the Sakura level. Also not offered an upgrade to a corner room when agent checking me in told me "hotel was fully booked for the night." (Hotel website had plenty of rooms available. Hmmm!) Location of the hotel is sensational. Walking distance to almost all the DC attractions. Wound up walking to see the Cherry Blossoms and to the Wharf as well. Mohave Ghost brand amenities in the bathroom are excellent. Beds are comfortable but pillows were very mushy. Called Housekeeping to ask for a more firmer pillow and got 2 more of the same mushy pillows. Most days there is no doorman or anyone to help you get a taxi, just the Valet parking guys. Surprising for an a supposed 5-star hotel. I would still return but only if I paid for the upgrade to Sakura Level.
