Park Hyatt Washington DC

I recently stayed at this luxury hotel and was thoroughly impressed. The breakfast was outstanding, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always greeting guests with a smile and making sure every need was met. Overall, a wonderful experience that set a high standard for comfort and service.

Excellent accommodations. I had a Junior Suite and it was the perfect size. The food options were fantastic and there were many allergy sensitive options. The hotel was very clean and well staffed. I liked that I could use the fitness center very early in the morning too.

I would strongly advise against booking a suite at this hotel. If I had known that the suite had almost no natural light and faced an unattractive, unclean wall just a few feet away, I would have chosen a different accommodation. When I expressed my concerns, I was informed that all suites are designed this way, which was disappointing to hear. Additionally, during our two-night stay on the 4th floor, we were repeatedly woken up early by construction noise from downstairs, which significantly impacted our experience. Given the price, I expected a higher standard. While the location is excellent and the pool is enjoyable, the overall quality did not meet expectations. The staff was welcoming and accommodating, but the premium accommodations fell short. The carpeting had noticeable stains both in the hallways and rooms, the bathroom door did not close properly, and the TV remote was non-functional. These issues, combined with the suite's poor design and noise disturbances, made for a disappointing stay.

We are just checking out of a wonderful stay at the Park Hyatt Washington DC. We came with our six year-old and three-year-old to visit family. The hotel is in a wonderful walkable neighborhood and the service was excellent. My favorite part was the coffee bar every morning opening at 6:30 AM in addition to the in room Nespresso. we used the indoor pool, which was lots of fun for the kids. We didn’t get a chance to eat at Blue Duck Tavern, but our family tells us it is delicious. The hotel itself was beautiful and we will definitely be back.

The Park Hyatt is a luxury hotel of the highest standard. All the details are what you would expect, lovely sheets, comfy rooms, delicious food, attentive staff. The hotel has a great sense of team work and professionalism. The Blue Duck Tavern is an asset to the hotel and sitting in their garden on a sunny DC day is a real treat.
