Ideally located in the charming neighborhood of Georgetown, alongside the historic C&O Canal, Rosewood Washington, D.C. features 49 rooms and 12 suites. Had dinner a the Cut restaurant with friends we really enjoyed our time there and we had an amazing experience, I highly recommend it. Great service and atmosphere. Thank you to the staff and the chef. Great menu for food. A must in Washington DC.

Small hotel with good location in Georgetown just off M Street. Rooms comfortable and with Rosewood's to die for bathrooms and mattresses. Hotel has a fun top floor bar that opens in the evening but the entire ground floor has been franchised to a steak outlet so during the day there's no nowhere to have lunch or a drink . Rosewood service at the Carlyle or Crillon is superb but here it's indifferent. Check in was slow, room wasn't ready on time, no bar to get a bottle of water after a long flight, no 'How was your flight ?' Furniture beginning to show signs of wear and tear. Came away with the feeling the place has management issues as it's not what you'd expect of a Rosewood. Ritz Carlton or Four Seasons offer a better product for international business travellers.

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was amazing from start to finish. Beautiful room, very comfortable bed, brilliant shower, great work desk for my husband who had to do some work whilst we were there and the most helpful hotel staff ever! So many small and thoughtful touches, cartons of water at every turn, wonderful turn down service in the evening, great housekeeping and very helpful concierge. We met the GM who took the time to ask us about our stay and find out if everything was ok for us. Brilliant.

Beautifully and luxuriously furnished hotel. Great service and great food at the restaurant CUT. Nice location being close the Potomac river and waterfront and well situated in Georgetown (also close to city centre). Easy to recommend this hotel, but it’s pricey

I had a comfortable two day stay, location is divine in Georgetown and easy to get to anywhere in the city in a few minutes by car. Food is excellent for breakfast lunch and dinner, staff friendly, and I was unexpectedly upgraded to a nice one bedroom suite with a large bathroom and extremely comfortable bed. A few things to note if you’re a Rosewood regular like me, this hotel is quite small without much in the way of common areas (no proper lobby, a small room with a fireplace and a covered rooftop bar/lounge) but luckily with the upgrade I received I just hung out in my room when I had some down time. I’ll also note that given the hotel is a bit older, the room technology is a bit clunky, not enough outlets and some of the plugs don’t work, no USB ports etc like at other properties, the soundproofing isn’t great, and one of the elevators squeaks as it goes up and down so if you have a room next to it as I did, you will hear it (luckily I travel with ear plugs to sleep so it didn’t disturb me at night). Despite this, I’d gladly return for the location, food and service, this has a decidedly non-corporate feel which is a bit rare for DC and quite refreshing.
