A wonderful place to stay especially in the run in to Christmas. The historic Willard Hotel is famed for its Christmas tree and decorations. The rooms are very comfortable as one might expect but, as always, the sign of a great hotel is the efficiency and friendliness of the staff. Everyone from the Concierge and Front Desk to the restaurant staff were exceptionally well drilled and willing to assist. I’d like to call out Juan Pablo in the restaurant for being especially attentive and engaging. Clearly someone who takes great pride in the quality of the service he provides. A nice guy and it showed. It was hugely appreciated.

Third stay here and once again everything was fantastic. I received an upgrade due to my Ambassador status and the Jr. Suite was exactly what my family needed. Every person I came in contact with was personable and helpful. The hotel is verye clean and the food choices at Cafe Du Parc are excellent. The Christmas decor was also very very nice. I look forward to another stay in the future.

While the staff were very helpful the room was below standard. The rooms were nondescript spaces that needed a refresh. The tiny bathroom had a tub/shower combination. The room seemed to be missing a picture above the sofa. The view was nonexistent even though I had reserved a room with a view. Finally, the food at the meeting was unacceptable.

The beds were too soft, my husband I both struggled to sleep even after walking 25k steps. I think what stood out most was the exceptional housekeeping services. Post covid hospitality I have seen a downward trend in housekeeping. The Willard blew me away, consistently stocking our room with fresh towels, complimentary bottled water, tidying up etc. The bar and lobby are gorgeously decorated for the holidays but often crowded with spectators. I feel the hotel should have had some kind of perk or exclusive area for guests of the hotel. Overall enjoyed my stay, the proximity to the major sites is key when visiting as a first timer.

My family visited the Willard during a busy holiday weekend. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by everyone we encountered. The valet experience was easy and the $70 fee was reasonable for the area. The one bedroom suite was stunning-we had two queen beds and a sleeper sofa, and the space was huge and well appointed. The hotel was full of personal touches-I was even given a beautiful gift of treats to help me celebrate my birthday! They were as tasty as they were gorgeous. The hotel was decorated beautifully for Christmas and even though there were many visitors, the hotel lobby never felt overcrowded or impersonal. The nightly concert was intimate and festive! We enjoyed our stay immensely and are already planning several return visits.
