Have stayed for work more than once. Convenient location. The cost is - at times - reasonable. The beds are not super-comfortable - but clean, the water pressure in the shower varies - but the showers seem to be consistently clean, and the service at the front desk is inconsistent - and, at times, offensive. The restaurant which seems to be independent of the hotel is fantastic, as is the service. Short story long - it's a decent hotel for the price.

I found this hotel to be very comfortable all around. The vide is great downstairs with a really good restaurant and a bar that is popular with locals. Couches and seating abound for those wanting to chat while the music plays. The staff was extremely accommodating and polite. My little dog was welcomed with treats and smiles.

This year 2025 in my reviews I will rate my hotel stay on few categories important to me. 1) Hotel positive acknowledgement of my Loyalty 2) Hotel proactive upgrade based on my level of my membership 3) Overall Hotel stay Poor-Average-Very Good- Excellent 4) Others, i.e Breakfast I was well acknowledged for being a loyal customer and even they went out of their way once they knew I am at a higher-level loyalty with their competitor Hotel Brand “HHonors Life Time Diamond”. My Overall stay at this hotel was Excellent with a unique nostalgia that standout from the typical hotels. This hotel was a great choice and highly recommended.

Great 6 night stay for our trip to Washington DC. Hotel is in a good location; within 10 minutes walk of both Foggy Bottom and Dupont Circle metro stations, and close to many restaurants in Dupont Circle. We did walk a couple of times from the hotel to the National Mall, White House and other attractions. Staff at reception were friendly at both check in and check out and concierge stored our bags for the day before our late pickup. The room was a good size with two double beds and a huge tv (compared to UK hotels). Amenities included a mini fridge, safe, coffee/tea machine, toiletries, towels and a dressing gown. Charging outlets next to bed were handy but there was no socket near to the mirrors so hair appliances didn't quite reach which was annoying. The bathroom door opened by sliding along a rail and it was quite heavy to move and didn't shut properly. Beds were comfortable with a couple of different styles of hard and soft pillow so we could choose our preference. Room was generally quiet but could here some traffic and emergency services on the road which we expected when in a city. There was a water fountains next to the lift on all floors which was helpful for refilling our bottles for the day. Hotel had a good atmosphere in the bar/restaurant with discount on the meals for guests. We decided not to eat at the hotel as we wanted to try other places. Overall, great stay and would recommend this hotel.

Loved this trip. In addition to the comfy beds, the staff were courteous & kind. Jessi H., especially in assisting with a booking concern & handled it gracefully. The food was delectable! If you're here, take advantage of MercyMe, the restaurant within the hotel! I might just become a regular after this visit.
