HarbourView Inn

So delighted we stayed an additional night! ********************************************************************************************************

We had been in Greenville for my nephew's wedding and we decided to make a side trip to Charleston on our way home. I am so happy that I found the HarbourView Inn & decided to make a reservation for two rooms. Everything about our stay was fantastic! All of the staff we came in contact with were welcoming & gracious from the valets to the front desk staff. They made us feel like we were family. Great location for exploring Charleston -- tons of restaurants, bars & shops in easy walking distance. They provide a wine hour each evening with some light bites -- a nice touch. Breakfast which is included in the room rate was delicious & delivered to your room (or the roof top terrace when the weather is warm). Good size rooms very well maintained & nicely decorated. Our rooms (401 & 402) had a balcony which provided a nice view of the water. Would strongly recommend staying at the HarbourView Inn if you're in Charleston, SC.

This hotel is fantastic! I've had HarbourView Inn on my radar for a couple of years, but it is out of our price range. We planned to visit family prior to Christmas and were going to be home just the 2 of us Christmas day. So when I saw a black Friday special, we decided this was our chance to try this hotel out. We enjoyed our stay very much. Every staff member was exceptional! We loved the breakfast, 5:00 spread, and milk and cookies at 9. We also had an unexpected treat of Santa and Mrs. Clause; and especially loved the Charleston Carollers that came Christmas Eve as well as Christmas night. It made our stay extra special. Location is fantastic for walking the streets of downtown Charleston, as well as walking the battery and viewing the harbour. We would definitely recommend!

My wife and I love to visit Charleston and we made a December trip to see the city decked out for Christmas. This was our first time staying at HarbourView Inn and we were not disappointed. Every single staff person we met was friendly and helpful. The check in process was easy and our room was nice and comfortable. There is a large construction project going on across the street but we didn't have any issues with noise or traffic. The breakfast served in our room was a nice touch. If you want a nice place that is clean, comfy and friendly in downtown, this is a great choice.

We loved our stay here. We chose this hotel because we wanted an upscale experience at a reasonable price with fantastic amenities. We were very pleased with our entire stay---the staff were amazing--welcoming and helpful, and we felt very safe with the protected door service (you have to key in) and that it was continually staffed at the entrance made it feel extra luxurious. The amenities are amazing---a customized complimentary breakfast, drink station (lemonade, iced tea, and flavored water), along with a hot beverage station (coffee, selection of teas), and then their wine/cheese/appetizer evening, and then milk and cookies at 9pm. Their beds were so comfortable and we LOVED the included sound machines. The location is fantastic. They also accommodated our request for an early departure due to an incoming winter storm. We loved our stay here! Thank you to all the staff at Harbourview Inn!
