Perfect experience at the Harbor View Inn!
The Harbor View Inn is a great small hotel right in the heart of Charleston's French Quarter. My wife and I planned a 2 night get away for her birthday, and we could not have been happier with our choice. From the very beginning, we arrived early, and our room was ready. We stayed in the Historic Wing and loved the room. Spacious, meticulously clean and fresh, high ceilings and a wonderful old brick wall! Great choice. The wine and cheese social at 5PM was a great way to meet people and the second night we took our wine up to the roof top. Perfect! Breakfast for 2 served right on time with great selections - quiche, croissants, fruit, cereal, cinnamon buns. We have stayed all over the world and the people and ambiance of this hotel put it in our top 10%. Across the street from the waterfront park and the pineapple fountain and close to everything - restaurants and shopping. We valeted our car and never touched it until we left. Easy walk to everything. Looking forward to going back soon! P.S. Hot cookies served at 9PM with milk, tea, lemonade....almost forgot!!

Amazing location but even more amazing amenities
This is the second visit to Charleston and second visit staying at HarbourView Inn. The location is perfect if you wish to walk to the great restaurants, walking tours, art galleries, and riverwalk. Excellent service, added amenities and friendly staff make this a wonderful place to stay and return to.

A PERFECT STAY
The room, service, and location were perfect for a visit to historic Charleston, SC. This is a relatively small boutique hotel with a great complimentary breakfast, afternoon wine, and cookies and milk in the evening. It is within easy walking distance of many great restaurants and museums. We would not go back to Charleston without staying at the HarbourView Inn.

Great boutique hotel
Wonderful boutique hotel with excellent guest rooms and nice guest activities. Nightly wine and cheese in late afternoon as well as cookies at 9pm. On Mondays and Wednesdays, they have a guide do a basic 30-45 minute "tour" of nearby area with history and background of Charleston. Warm and friendly staff. Breakfast each day in commons area or in your room. Easy walk to Charleston City Market, French Quarter, many restaurants, and shopping along King Street.

Sisters trip to Charleston
Fabulous stay in Charleston at the HarbourView Inn! Lovely older inn with beautiful views. The staff was very friendly, and the made to order breakfast at a choice of locations in the inn, the wine/cheese hour and the cookies and milk at bedtime just added to our stay. We were able to walk easily to downtown restaurants and shopping, historic homes, and many tourists attractions. A GREAT location! I highly recommend you stay here!
